Adolescence is Matthew's (aka Figgz) debut poetry collection, fueled by the anxiety & depression he struggled with in high school. It's nearly impossible to make sense of the world when you can barely understand yourself. Adolescence candidly captures the author's teenage years, bringing to light issues that remain relevant to today's youth and adults alike. Pain is meant to be shared to let others know that they aren't alone. And realizing that you aren't alone, is half the battle.
