After a serious mental breakdown, cutting himself off from his family and setting up home on his own, Richard Dotson decided that what he really needed was a holiday filled with adventure. He had always hankered to take a trip to Russia, explore the terrain, marvel at the architecture, taste their cuisine and immerse himself in the culture.Instead he was persuaded to visit Ukraine. He departed from the UK on April 1st 2006, followed the White Rabbit down the hole and off into Wonderland, not with Alice Liddell, the quaint English rose, but with Alesya Harkusha, her Russian counterpart...not to mention her very strange family.Nothing was quite what it appeared to be at this far-flung Mad Hatter's tea party in Kherson, the city of brides.Robert de Niro, R2D2 and The Hulk made guest appearances as well.
