It never crosses our minds that some people do not have the simple freedom to love the person they choose, if indeed love is a choice. There are tales of love so strong it's said to have brought down kingdoms; some souls manifestly bound together since before creation, but wrenched apart by life. Evren does not claim her love to be this influential. Yet, if revealed, it has the power to devastate the people in her world. The greatest love she has ever known is not only condemned by society, but punishable by law. Evren is in love with her brother. Well, half-brother, actually. The kind of all-consuming, set your soul on fire, passionate love that makes everything else seem inconsequential. The life she's built and the world she knows are both at risk of fading away; all she sees is him. Suspend your own reality for a moment and journey with Evren down a road less travelled. From West Africa to England and Istanbul, experience this true story of life, love, loss, and everything in between.
