Whether it's heroin or Hershey bars, to someone who struggles with addiction, if a little is good, it seems like a lot must be better. If that's you, consider thinking about addiction as just an undesirable behavior you can change! My book will show you how. Buzz Phrases: Crushing Addictive Behavior, One Thought at a Time offers a straightforward solution to a complex problem. Thoughts cause feelings, feelings cause behavior. So, can you see how repetitive, unhelpful thoughts are at the root of your addiction conundrum? This book helps you take control. Your thoughts stop being the problem and start becoming the solution. It gives you a set of 10 catchy, sensible "Act-Firmations" that lead you away from addiction and on to a better life. I know all about having a better life. I came up with these Buzz Phrases for me!For a long time, I battled alcohol addiction. I found the Buzz Phrases in this book reprogrammed my thinking, feelings, and behaviors so well, that I began to share them with my family and friends. Then, six years ago, I started working with young people who were addicted to opiates. This is an especially difficult drug to quit. It becomes a lethal struggle very quickly. I saw many of my young clients die. I saw their loved ones grieve. I grieved, too. But, by introducing these clients to the Buzz Phrases, I've also helped many to recover. How? By teaching them to crush this monster the same way I did: ONE THOUGHT AT A TIME. If they can do it, and I can do it....so can you!
