From writer and poet, Christy Leos, comes her first collection of poetry, Children & Taboos. These poems explore the deep wounds facing U.S. residents today, and the political, religious, class, race, and mental illness issues that cannot be ignored. Leos recounts stories from her life, others, and her dreams in order to rise against those who want her, and those like her, silenced or ignored. She invites readers to explore the line between good and evil, right and wrong, and face the brilliant and horrible truths that lie within us all.
