Derek Savage sits up the back of the classroom, alone. And watches. His gift is imagination. Ellen Lacey is popular and untouchable. Her gift is beauty. Alex Wilson is a young sports teacher witnessing a catastrophe unfolding in slow motion. Eden Cave alternates, chapter by chapter, between these three narrators, over a period of four weeks. As two teenagers secretly plot each other's downfall, they are thrown together in a startling climax that is compelling and totally unexpected. Eden Cave raises provocative questions about teenage sexuality, the growth and emotional development of young men, deep-rooted differences between genders and the dangerous line between fantasy and reality.
