On a daily basis, young people face the consequences associated with drugs, sexual activity, alcohol, unsafe diets, uncontrolled anger, low self-esteem, bad language, hanging with the wrong crowd, and more. Without advance preparation and adequate support, young people may make decisions they will regret later in life. In Jump-Start the Next Generation, author William Rollings offers a collection of devotionals equipping teens and preteens with the biblical insight they need to make smart choices now and reach their God-given potential in life. The text also calls on parents and other caring adults to facilitate conversations about everything from adversity to anger and wisdom to worth. Its unique format encourages young people and parents to study God's Word together, pray together, and share their own personal experiences. A tool that bridges the generational divide, Jump-Start the Next Generation provides a platform for opening the discussion about popular and tough topics families often avoid. It challenges the next generation to seek God's advice to help them navigate some of life's treacherous situations.
