WHEN JULIUS CAESAR WAS MURDERED THE COURSE OF CIVILISATION WAS CHANGED... FOREVER.Julius Caesar had big plans: to rule Rome as an emperor. A god in human form. The Roman senate had other ideas.Tiring of Caesar's constant erosion of the senate's power, they fought back in the only way they could: with knives to the chest. But Caesar's death was only the beginning; a civil war would soon consume Rome as two powerful men battled for dominance: Mark Antony, Caesar's co-consul and trusted friend; and Octavian, an unknown whose rise through Roman political society as Caesar's sole heir seemed unstoppable.Stuck in the middle is Marcus Cicero. A critic of Caesar, and a thorn in Mark Antony's side. Cicero will do whatever it takes to make sure Antony does not win the war, but Antony is a dangerous man to have as an enemy. And so the decree is given: Kill Cicero!Kill Cicero is a novella and a short read, about two hours (100 pages).
