Due to scheduling conflicts for her TV show, Leighton List was unable to come home to Houston, Texas to see her parents and best friends for Christmas. That is what she and her parents had been telling everyone, including Leighton's best friends. The real and true plan was this: Leighton was going to be home from December 20th- January 3rd! Before Leighton could surrender this piece of the surprise, there was another piece that she had to play out. Tonight was her best friend's school's winter masquerade ball, and she was going to surprise her best friends and good friends. As the limo pulled up to the Hotel Icon entrance, Leighton thanked the driver and got out of the car. Her heart fluttering, Leighton made her way into the hotel and to the ballroom.
