Weird. Strange. Gross. Surprising. These four words define a collection of short fiction from an author normally known for his long-windedness. Case-in-point: the previous sentence. The stories presented here are not, "new weird;" quite the opposite. This is the old school of the bizarro, the what-ifs that you almost don't want to think about. Almost. This retrospective collection compiles works created from 2008 through 2018. There are snakes and warlocks, murderers and morons, a hive intelligence and a belligerent bureaucracy. Then there's some really goofy stuff. Have a look. You know you want to.
