Anonymity is his superpower. And due to the nature of his work, a necessity. He is a grifter: one who steals through deception as opposed to force. He rerouted an entire fleet of armored cars. He hit the Smithsonian three nights in a row, back-to-back. He even sold the same bridge to the same person, twice. He's a man guilty of a great many crimes. Except for the one he's being framed for. His reputation as a gentleman thief now on the line, the grifter assembles a crew of slicks: high-class, highly trained criminals, each the very best at what they do. With a securities specialist, an ex-CIA hitwoman, a hacker, and a getaway driver on his side, the grifter sets out to pull a heist on New York City's most secure vault- all while juggling the police, the criminal underworld, and his own deliciously destructive tendencies. A complete revamp of his second novel, Rich Etienne (L'Amour en Noir: a Screenplay Collection, Snapshot) returns with his eighth work: a fast, fun, fancy affair with a little wining, a little dining, and best of all, a little felony on the side. Pour heavy. Serve neat.
