Some people live life for the sake of living. For others, the prospect of dying forces them to engage in life, to take an unsure journey with a certain end. The Last Letter is the story of life, death, love, and mayhem--and two very different journeys toward that certain end. Author Larry Reynolds is forced into the journey by the death at a young age of his long-time friend, Tracy McGuire. Tracy lives life without regard to cost or consequence, a stark contrast to the stable, predictable life Larry has chosen. Neither men wanted to accept their circumstance-those random moments in life that lead to answers to questions many of us keep buried within. The Last Letter is a book of discovery. The Last Letter is a book that explains the different paths we each take to often arrive at a similar place-not death, but the power of life and the nuances and frailties that make us all human.
