This is the story of a young orphaned Reed Buck that became part of our extended Family. It covers all the highs and lows of our new friend's life and the joy he was to bring to our whole family and community. This is a true story and account of Billie's life. 'UNDER THE IGUSI TREE is a must read for all ages'. If Billy was left by the poachers, who so cruelly killed his mother and left him wondering around, what would the prognosis have been for him, considering the coniferous animals in the area? No doubt lunch for one of the largest black-maned lions in the world. That would have upset us a great deal had we known but instead Billy gave us a great deal of joy and pleasure growing up with us in Africa.
