This book boils down to one simple premise: the less realistic the design challenge, the more opportunities there are for creative solutions. Whether it's the thrill of breaking taboos or the freedom that comes from working without parameters (budgets, clients, bureaucracies, contractors, colleagues, and so on), an unencumbered design process creates possibilities that familiar, 'real-world' methods simply cannot achieve.
